THESE MAPS MAY HAVE BEEN USED FOR THE PLANNING AND EXECUTION OF OPERATION CORONET, THE INVASION OF THE MAIN JAPANESE ISLAND OF HONSHU, SCHEDULED FOR SPRING 1946.

 

THE JAPANESE FORCES IN NAGOYA WERE CONSIDERED A SERIOUS THREAT TO THE ALLIED FORCES WHO WOULD BE ASSAULTING THE KANTO PLAIN SOUTH OF TOKYO

EXCELLENT condition. These maps have been folded for years but open easily. No tears, no stains.  Completely intact and readable.  Colors are bright.  The camera may make some maps look soiled or dirty – all maps are clean and white/color.

 

Sold ONLY as one lot – will not separate.

These publications have NOT been stored outdoors in a lean-to shed that fell over on them.  No musty odor.  Always stored indoors.
