THIS LISTING IS FOR 2 GERMAN WWII BURLAP GRAIN SACKS!

Made from heavy burlap cloth, this is a German WWII Issue Army Ration Grain Sack, measuring approximately 42"H x 26"W when flat. A steady supply of food was vital to any fighting force, and sacks were the preferred way of transporting grain, which has not changed much since WWII. One side of the sack has a stencil identifying is correct usage and date of manufacture:

1938

This is the German Abbreviation for Heeres Verpflegung, or "Army Rations". The other side has a large stenciled Wehrmachtadler (Armed forces eagle).

The sacks I have are dated 1938 and 1940.  The 1940 is heavily soiled.  Both sacks do not have tears or damage, just soiling.  Please see photos for more information.
