ARTIFACT: This is a beautiful and ornate Good Will Fire Company of Belvidere, New Jersey ribbon for the Veteran Volunteer Firemen’s Association Convention. The meeting was held at Elizabeth, New Jersey on October 11, 1906. The purple and ivory ribbon has a celluloid medallion at its center from which hangs a gold bullion tassel.

VINTAGE: Circa 1906.

SIZE: Approximately 7-1/2” in height and 3-1/2” in width.

[/n]

CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Silk, gold bullion tassel, celluloid, gilt brass, gold tinsel wire, partial mesh and paper backing.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal safety-style pin on bar.
