ARTIFACT: Great 1920’s vintage painted cast iron elephant mechanical cigarette dispenser, Type IV without base or tray. The elephant, trunk raised in a walking stride, features a hinged-lid as the base of the seat and the interior of the seat is the storage compartment for cigarettes. To dispense, lift the elephant’s tail and a cigarette will drop down under the elephant’s belly.
