Description

This is two sets of Third Reich papers. It is a large quantity of paperwork spanning WWII related to Hauptmann Arno Schieck of Hamburg who worked for the HQ of Festungs-Pionier Battalion 17 from 1937-1941. There is also a folder Schriftverkehr mit Gesetzeskunde for farmer student Rudi Heiser. Documents include CV of work for the Pionier unit such as advising bunker crews how to use optical equipment, water supply work on Maginot line bunkers, armored turrets, some post war papers, typed list of pioneer officers with ranks and appointment dates, a Rechnung card for a stay at a hotel in 1942, typewritten DIARY pages for April 1945 mentioning American Military Police and hoping they will stay to ensure peace and security. The folder with student farmer papers has a paper written to the school that he can't attend classes due to a work injury on June 6th 1944. T\His folder contains a complete set of documents with his signed and complete contract as an apprentice. There are also a group of 18th century certificates. Quite nice and needs more research. Way more items then my photos show.
