ARTIFACT: This is a beautiful late 1940s French aircraft carrier ship Dixmude ship badge.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1940s.

SIZE: 2” in width by 1” in height.

CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Gilt and silver plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Safety-type pin attached to the back.

MARKINGS: The back is marked “Augis Lyon”.
